Port of Shelton Meeting - June 1 Executive Session

Apparently the drama yesterday continued on into the executive sessions. I received a call from Jack Miles today at noon telling me that he walked out of the executive session yesterday. I recall that just before they went into executive session, Jack asked whether he was the subject of the closed door meeting. The attorney for the Port, Skip Hauser, assured him that he wasn't because they were going to be discussing a public employee personnel issue. Lo and behold, when they got the pesky citizens out of the room it turns out that John Dobson wanted to talk about Jack Miles or so Jack tells me today. Jack says that he told them their executive session was illegal and he refused to be a part of it.

That's what I heard from Jack today. Stay tuned. The drama is unending.

  1. I was wondering if someone could help me find information on what residents of areas that have wood burning incinerators are saying about the impact is had had on them. It's hard for me to get people on our side without this. I have searched and searched and can't come up with anything. my e-mail is: iseesmith@aol.com if you can use Adage in the subject so I know that it is safe to open.

  3. Jack Miles is full of drauma. You are being sucked in to a campaign ploy he is using to get attention. What has Jack done since he has been elected? Lets see..... Things like Ordering the US Flag lowered to half staff in honor of Paul Harvey? "Miles is Miffed" because he can't open his email account.. oh wait, and he was arrested for two counts of violating a no-contact order and theft. Can he hold down a job? No, KMAS-No, AM/PM Clerk-No, Security Officer as Lucky Dog-No, Volunteer Firefighter-No... Lip service is all he is giving us..

  4. Campaign ploy?
    He's not up for re-election.
Do you have real information or is this it?
    How sad.

  5. Well, to add to all the various and sundry discussions of inappropriate and/or illegal activities by commissioners, I think Mr. Miles just violated ethics standards, if not the law by revealing what was said in an 'executive session'!

    Shame on Mr. Miles!

  6. As an ex-fighfighter Jack Miles does not like to watch people die from lung diseases.

I just with the other commissioners were not so eager to kill and sicken my family.

  8. Jack Miles is worried about our elderly and our children having breathing problems. My children don't smoke. Smoking is a perosonal decision. We have not choice if AGADE, SIMPSON and TESC want to foul our air and drop sediments on our homes.

  9. First, folks try to stay on topic - trying to convert every post to an anti-ADAGE rant is not only annoying, it's making me pro-ADAGE.

"or so Jack tells me today." (passing along what was discussed in executive session) Brenda just outed Comm. Miles for breaking the law.
